Performed on the 50th anniversary of the May 4, 1970 Kent State University shootings, Academy Records performs a new stereo guitar composition entitled Partially Buried (It is Necessary to Confront Vague Ideas with Clear Images) at Heroes Gallery for their “Coastal Funk” exhibition. A re-imagining of the James Gang classic hit, Funk #49 as an homage or elegy to those tragic early days of May, 1970.
